Cousins at the cabin

After Christmas we drove to San Diego and spent a night with Greg and then met the whole James crew up at a cabin in Idyllwild, CA. The cousins adored Madeline and it was fun getting together with everyone for 3 days. Lots of great food, drink and conversation!

The weather was beautiful and the cabin was less than a mile from town, so we were able to walk into town and get some fresh mountain air.


Madeline modeling her new 'Snow Princess' outfit that her daddy picked out for Christmas. We didn't have much snow up there...but she sure looked cute!

The ride home was a bit long but Madeline was quite the trooper. By the time we hit Phoenix, she told us (quite loudly!) she had had enough traveling. We were all very glad to be back in Tucson! It was a long trip for a little one, but once we were out of the car she was back to her happy self!

Pictures never do it justice (especially when taken out of a moving car window), but the sunset was beautiful over the AZ desert!
