Happy Birthday Great Aunt Cis

This past weekend we ventured to San Francisco and Sausalito to celebrate the 90th birthday of Brian's Aunt Cis.  Madeline had the chance to see Grandma & Grandpa James and catch up with all of the James aunts and uncles.  She was quite the trooper, being the only child at a number of the gatherings.  She held her own and made friends with everyone.  If she didn't know someone, she made fast friends by approaching them and saying, "Hey you!"  We were so lucky to be a part of the birthday celebrations for such a wonderful woman!  Happy 90th Cis!

All that partying and touring sure makes for a tired little girl!

A visit from the Mesics

We had company in town this past weekend and had a ton of fun catching up with friends, chasing kiddos around and showing them some fun Houston sights.

Thursday brought a visit to the zoo

On Friday, the dads took the kiddos to a bounce house town where they got to run wild and blow off a bunch of steam.  Looks like they had a ton of fun!
We ventured down to Galveston to celebrate Mardi Gras on Saturday.  Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and our plans for the day had many modifications.  Despite all of this, Madeline, Joey and Daniel were able to catch plenty of beads and we got to enjoy some of the festivities.

We had so much fun spending time with good friends.  Thanks for the visit!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Madeline had quite the Valentine's Day celebrations.  Her festivities started this weekend with a party at Mike and Irma's house where she had lots of little kids to play with.  The grand finale of the party was a pinata which she got the hang of real quickly!

They had a party at school today and she exchanged Valentine's with all of her friends.  I was shocked when she came home with this bag filled with candy, toys and cards!  Things have sure changed from what I remember of Valentine's exchanges at school.
