3 Months

Where has the time gone?  Sweet little Olivia is 3 months old today!

Developments for this month:

We transitioned her out of the bassinet in our bedroom and she's now sleeping in her own crib.  She is consistently sleeping from ~9:30 to 7, so is a great little sleeper right now.  We are super hopeful that this lasts!

We could say that this is her morning hair, but it actually looks like this all the time!
She can roll from tummy to back

She made her first trip to the zoo.
She loves, loves, loves watching her big sister.  This is her smiling while watching her sister do "big kid tricks"
Baths are sure to bring out lots of smiles.
It doesn't take much to bring out her smiles.  She loves being talked to and will smile for just about anyone that stops for some conversation.  I can't get enough of her double dimples.

She's started having a great time in her jumeroo and her little car.
Look who has her driver's license!
She is now reaching for things and will bat at the toys on her car seat or above her on her playmat.  She'll  hold onto her toys for a bit and immediately try and get them into her mouth!

Such a big girl and so many more developments to look forward to this month!

Outside fun

In Houston, we spend a large majority of the summer inside waiting for cooler weather so that we can enjoy the outdoors.  Well, that time has finally arrived and we have been cherishing our outside play time.

Madeline has been enjoying playing soccer in the yard

although, her idea of soccer often involves laying on the ball!
Olivia loves to watch big sister and is pretty keen on the front carrier these days
We've been taking advantage of the lingering warmth of the pool.  The temperatures seem to creep down a little with each passing weekend.  our little fish is quite independent in the pool and can swim the length unassisted.  She goes wild with the pool noodles!

I'll leave you with a cute matching sister shot from two weekends ago.
