New toy

I've caved already... We weren't planning on getting a playmat for Madeline. I figured we could just lay her on blankets and provide her with toys and she would be happy (which, I'm sure she would have been). But, after talking to some other new moms about how much their little ones love the playmats, and after seeing how Madeline is so taken by her mobile, I ordered one from Amazon. It came this week, and Madeline loves it. She stared at the monkey for quite some time yesterday, and today she was smiling at the giraffe.

In other news, I weighed her yesterday and she's 8lb 11 oz. She seems a lot longer, too, so we're excited to see her official stats at her Dr appt on Monday.
