Thanksgiving in Tucson

I really dropped the ball and took very few pictures to document our Tucson Thanksgiving, but we did enjoy a relaxing week in the desert.  Madeline and Olivia enjoyed spending lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa James and their cousins who joined later in the week.

Playing chalk out back
Madeline has gotten quite good at hop scotch.  She counts the numbers in English and Spanish as she jumps!
We found a new park that had lots of equipment that Madeline hasn't experienced at other parks.
Twisting on the corkscrew!
I love this picture of her.  You can just feel the fun and happiness!
Attempting to crawl through the tubes
The park had mostly big kid equipment, but that wasn't going to stop Olivia!
Taking a break!
The look of determination!
Spider Madeline made it to the top with only a bit of help!
One afternoon, the "big girls" went for tea.  Madeline and cousin Sarah enjoyed drinking their cocoa from fancy cups and eating their special treats!

Thanksgiving Day!

This is the only picture I took on Thanksgiving day! :( I forgot about it until the girls were ready for bed, so I need to attempt to do better next year!

On the drive home, we stopped a few times to get out and stretch and let the girls run around.  One of the stops was the old Yuma Territorial Prison.  Madeline was a bit freaked out by the cells, yet was intrigued by the white potty pot on display in some of the cells.  She also had a fun time looking at the pictures of the "bad guys" and asking what they did!

"You aren't going to leave me here are you?"
Olivia displayed no hesitation in fully exploring the area
Checking out the dark cell.

All in all we had a great trip, I'm just sorry I didn't do more to document their time with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa!
