Madeline had her 9 month check-up this morning. Here are her stats:
Height: 27"
Weight 14 lb 1 oz
FOC:17"
She has now 'fallen off' the chart for weight, but the doctor remains unconcerned and says she is still growing and healthy. She attributes her slow weight gain to her huge energy level and the fact that she is constantly in motion. You can see her little buddha belly in the picture above and I don't think she looks too skinny, so we'll just keep doing what we're doing!
She had a great time playing with the paper on the exam table--it was a mess by the time we left!
My biggie boy weighed that much at 2 months, if you can believe that, but it all evens out in the end (he was huge up until about a year old and then suddenly he was very average in weight). She looks perfect to me! I totally agree with the thought that if she has energy and isn't looking emaciated as well as growing, no worries. :) She's cute as a button, that's for sure!
