Merry Christmas!!

We had a great Christmas.  There was tons of excitement in the air and the girls loved their gifts and had so much fun playing with each other and enjoying their new things.

They both wrote their letters to Santa the night before.  Our elf left a big impression this year, as he was a bit mischievous.  I had to chuckle that they both mentioned him to Santa!

Christmas Morning!

Finally figuring out that Santa DID leave a science kit.  She didn't understand her microscope at first!
Stocking time!
Looking through their new books!
Sneaky liked the excitement
Silly girls with Grandpa and Grandma James
These next three pictures crack me up.  The exact same super crazy-excited grin for these gifts!
Trying out her new microscope.
Teaching little sis how to use the microscope.
Olivia's big hit was her "Rainbow Dash Remote Control"
This game requires much concentration!
Surprise!
Madeline received a magic kit and worked on perfecting her magician skills...

Olivia couldn't let Madeline have all of the magician fun and came up with her own "No Ponies" trick.  She cracked us up-especially with her flair bow at the end.  We had no idea where she learned that, but she told us it was from dance class.  She picked the perfect time to demonstrate it!

We had dinner and cousin time at Aunt Sue and Uncle Steve's house.  The cousins got a trampoline from Santa and the kids had a lot of fun trying it out.  This is the only picture we got of Olivia in her cute Mrs. Claus dress.

We hope everyone had a magical Christmas filled with love and laughter surrounded by friends and family!
